The tour starts in the Regiment No. 21 Arica de La Serena and goes down to the Francisco de Aguirre, the main entrance road to the city, to the famous lighthouse of La Serena, built between 1951 and 1953, transformed into a tourist resort in 1985.

The next stop is the Mirador de Fort Lambert, a true relic of the port, built during the second half of the seventeenth century, situated in the area called Punta de Pelícanos.

Guayacan is a small port located in Region IV from which shipments of iron ore and oil take place. It belongs to the Portuaria Coquimbo that corresponds to Pacific Mining Company, CMP
