Arrive in

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

Arrive in the capital city, where our local professional guide and experienced driver will greet at the airport after baggage and customs clearance, and then take you to the hotel in downtown area. Relax during the rest of the day to recover from the jet leg.

Day 2: Beijing

We’ll spend the entire day exploring the most significant sights of the capitol city. After a short walk around the famous Tiananmen Square, we head to the Forbidden City - the world's largest and most complete wooden structure building complex, which is over 5 centuries old.. Around noon, we will serve you an a la carte lunch at an excellent restaurant. After lunch is a visit to the Temple of Heaven, where one can explore the finest examples of ancient Chinese architecture. We finish the day with a spectacular Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre.

Day 3: Beijing

Today you’ll climb up the Great Wall at Badaling section in the city suburbs. The Great Wall is an incredible remnant of Chinese history. Without modern technology or construction techniques, the Wall was still well designed and built in accordance with the local geographical features. When you stand atop the wall and see it stretch on, you’ll understand how amazing it really is. On the way back to the downtown area, while passing by the Bird's Nest, also called the Olympic National Stadium, we will make a brief stop for you to take some pictures of the stadium. Then have a traditional Hutong rickshaw tour in the afternoon.

Day04 Beijing - Xian

This morning, our guide will show you the Summer Palace, a classic royal garden which includes Longevity Hill, Kunming Lake, many exquisite halls, pavilions, corridors, bridges and rocks. After having an a la carte lunch at a fine restaurant, you will be escorted to the railway station. You’ll take a high-speed train to North Railway Station in Xian, where your local guide and driver will greet you and take you to the hotel.

Day 5: Xian

The whole morning will be spent seeing the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. You will be astonished by the life-size terracotta warriors and horses crafted more than 2200 years ago. Qin Shi Huang was the first emperor to unite nation, and the life-sized terracotta figurines were used to protect his tomb so he could reign on even after death. Over 8,000 terracotta soldiers have been uncovered and are on display. They vary in height, posture and expression.  In the afternoon, visit of the Provincial History Museum, one of the best museums in China.  Then go to the time-honored City Wall. It is a must-see of the city, commissioned by the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty.  This is the best preserved among mong the remains of the massive defensive walls.  This evening attend the marvelous Music and Dance show of Tang Dynasty and the delicious Dumpling dinner.

Day 6: Xian - Shanghai

In the morning you’ll start by visiting the Small Wild Goose Pagoda & Xian Museum. As one part of the museum, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda was built to hold the Buddhist scriptures and Buddha figures brought back from India by the famous monk Yijing during the Tang Dynasty. You will also find a giant bell made in 1192 striking with a loud sound.  Then you will have a Chinese local family visit. Not only can you visit the local people's homes, but also the hosts will invite you to have an a la carte lunch at their home. The hosts can show you how to make dumplings or to cook your favorite Chinese dish. Afterwards, you will take a flight to Shanghai. Our local guide will meet you upon arrival and take you to check in the hotel located in the downtown area.

Shanghai, the largest city in our country, has allured countless tourists. It is a city of modernization and reminiscence and a city of orient and occident. Westerners are drawn by its rich history and oriental charm. People from other places are fascinated with its modern face as it is a mix of ancient Chinese architecture and western structures. The historical landmark - the Bund and the modern ever-expanding Pudong area – symbolize the ancient and modern facets of the city.

Day 7: Shanghai

To start the day our guide will take you to the Shanghai Museum and the classic Yuyuan Garden. This distinguished museum is one of the four famous museums in China, showcasing rich and high-quality collection of ancient precious works of art. It has eleven galleries and three exhibition halls, which is the home to over 120,000 pieces of historical artifacts. Yuyuan Garden is a classical and elegant garden in the city. Once you enter the garden you will take in its beauty; its mirrored lotus ponds, pavilions, towers, corridors and trees on the edge, offering wonderful views. At noon, an a la carte lunch of the true Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines is included. After lunch, you will take a Huangpu River cruise to see the banks of the city along the two sides of the river. It helps you understand the past, see the present and look into the future of this modern city. Then you will explore the Bund area. The bund has been considered the symbol of the city for centuries. Everyone will marvel at its brilliant and dazzling high-rise buildings when the colorful lights are on. Free time will be given you there so that you can take some nice photos. At last you will visit an old street, where is full of sense of culture and arts.

Day 8: Departure from Shanghai

Our guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the airport for your return flight.
