Termessos is an ancient city, located on the Taurus Mountain at an altitude of 1050 m. It is one of the most interesting ancient cities in Antalya region. Termessos is considered to be one of best-preserved cities of antiquity, even surviving an attack from Alexander the Great.
Notable places of interest in Termessos - Theatre, Alcates grave, Necropolis, Gymnasium, Artemesian Temple, Agora, Roman Hadrian Temple. In Termessos you can also discover a large number of rare plants and animal species, which are protected as part of the Termessos National Park.
After Termessos make sure to visit Duden waterfall. It is a group of waterfalls in Antalya cascading from Taurus Mountains.
