Struga is the closest neighboring town to Ohrid, only 14 km away from it. It is a much smaller but ethnically more diverse place that attracts tourists primarily for its famous international poetry festival "Struga Poetry Nights". It takes place annually on the biggest bridge on the Drim River that flows through the center. Struga was also the birthplace of the first Macedonian poets and folk literature collectors, the Miladinovi brothers. The tour includes a visit to the house they were born in and also to a cave church dedicated to Virgin Mary close to the Lake.
