Church of Saints Simon and Helena
Minsk is the capital of Belarus, the biggest city in our country which attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. Its rich cultural heritage, grand architecture, perfect cleanliness, wide avenues and streets, numerous green parks and squares are very impressive!
This tour lasts for about 3 hours.
During our tour you will acquaint with the history of Minsk and its modern life. You will visit one of the biggest squares in Europe, the Independence Square. Its high spot is the Red Cathedral, built at the very beginning of the 20th century. Then, you will walk along the historical center of Minsk called the Freedom square. It bears witness to 500 years of Minsk’s history and is the place which has preserved its medieval spirit. The main catholic and orthodox churches are situated here and considered to be one of the most ancient buildings in Minsk. One more attractive place in our city is the Trinity suburb. It represents bright varicolored houses reminding about the life of the city in the 18-19 centuries. In addition you will go along two biggest avenues in Minsk (the Independence Avenue and the Victors’ Avenue) and see the National library (the Belarusian diamond), majestic sport building of the Minsk-Arena, luxurious Independence Palace (a new residence of President), and the building of the Main Post office (the great example of the Stalin Empire style). These and other interesting places are in the list of my tour.
