Pinnawala: is an Elephant Orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild elephants. Young elephants found abandoned by their family, weaning, diseased or wounded in the jungles. Nearly there are 90 elephants, including 37 males and 51 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala. The orphanage is very popular among local and foreign tourists. The main attraction is the opportunity to observe the feeding, giving milk, bathing in the river and playing. Pinnawala is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world.

Dambulla Cave Temple (77-59BC): is the one of largest cave temples in Sri Lanka, It is a most venerated and famous Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka.

Sigiriya: Sigiriya is a world UNESCO heritage site and some scholars are considered it is the 8th miracle of the world.

You will visit Lipton’s seat for hiking through beautiful tea gardens. This was a favorite look-out point for Sir Thomas Lipton (the great tea planter) when surveying the surrounding region of his tea plantations at Dambatenna near Haputale.

After Lunch at Haputhale/Beragala, you will proceed to Tangalle

Day 6 Tangalle > Bentota

Tangalle is famous for beautiful beach. After Break first proceeds to Bentota.

En route you will visit Galle court and will enjoy the Galle city tour.
