Before the events of the Holocaust, the city of Prague was one of the most important areas of the European Diaspora. This is why the world's biggest museum of Jewish ritual articles and culture is found here, despite the grim the fate of Prague's Jewish community. This walking tour shows you the Jewish Quarter`s six synagogues, among them the Old-New Synagogue (one of the oldest monuments of the European-Jewish culture), the Old Cemetery and its Ceremonial Hall, and the birthplace of author Franz Kafka. You can go inside these monuments if you would like, as I'm licensed by the Prague Jewish Museum
