Part of Prague's charm is very much the result of its geography, with its many hills and valleys and the central Vltava river valley cutting through the heart of the historic center. On this tour you will enjoy the views of Prague from the hills and enjoy routes which are much less frequented by crowds.
This is a relaxed walking tour mostly through parks and gardens with many possibliities to sit, relax and enjoy the views. There is a lot of distance to cover, however, we can use public transport if you want. Favorable weather conditions are essential so we should do this tour mainly from late April till September; however, there can be some really nice days during fall and winter too ...
Hint: The best way to reach the hill of Petřín is by cable car (funicular) that climbs the steep hill from about the river level up to the top. The views of Prague from the tower or just from the park paths are simply stunning. Spring and fall add more colors to this tour.
