Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, a city in the Northern part of the country. Not as commercialized as Saigon, its counterpart and possibly bigger city in the South. It's been said that "Hanoi personifies a historic Vietnam", where in the midst of the busy streets and crowded traffics, you will find plenty traces of a ancient Vietnam: pagodas, temples, lakes, and rivers. Each of them carries some historic significance in Vietnam History.
