Additional Information

Firstly we will see Bodbe monastery (4th century) The monastery was built on the tomb of St. Nino who introduced Christianity in Georgia. Next to Bodbe is the city-shelter Signagi which is one of the oldest towns in Georgia. People call it The Great Wall of Georgia, because its fence is up to 4 km. Located on a steep hill, Signagi overlooks the vast Alazani Valley, with the Caucasus Mountains visible at a distance. Our netx stop is Winery khareba . An 8-km tunnel winery under a mountain, where we can taste wines (not included in the price, available for extra 15 lari) and hear the history of Georgian wine. Visitors can buy high quality and prize-winning Georgian wines, honey, grape seed oil and traditional Georgian churchkela. Our last stop is Kindzmarauli winery , there you can taste not only Georgian Kvevri wines ,but also European style wines.
