About This Guide

I'm originally Atlanta, GA and moved to Israel with my wife, Julie, in 2010.  Our daughter, Tiferet, was born in March 2014, and we're proud to say that she is a first generation Jerusalemite.  I'm proud to have a diverse background of experiences, a wide variety of interests, and the ability to connect with many different types of people.  My goal is to teach, to guide, and to explore--all  in a way that allows you to experience and connect with the land and the people of Israel in a way that suits you.  For me, customizing your Israel experience is the name of the game.   In the States, I studied for four years in New Orleans, LA at Tulane University, and have a degree in Classical Studies and Ancient History.  Between college and moving to Israel, I spent 5 years in the Washington, D.C. area working in politics, focusing on issues related to U.S.-Israel relations and another 2 years in Israel, studying in yeshiva and living/working on a kibbutz.    Before becoming a Licensed Tour Guide in Israel, I spent many years guiding at some of the most significant sites in Jerusalem--the City of David, Southern Wall Excavations, and the Western Wall Tunnels--so I have more experience and expertise in these sites than your average tour guide.  I look forward to sharing the Land of Israel with you.
